Lexus has revealed the LS Inspiration Series, a 30th birthday celebration of its flagship sedan, priced at $ 198,922 before the on-road cost in Australia.
Based on the current LS limousine, the Inspiration Series can be distinguished by the regular availability of 20-inch alloy wheels and ‘khaki metal’ green for the exterior.
Inside, the car is outfitted with laser-cut ‘adornment’ with chestnut-coloured semi-aniline leather trim and brown door fabric trim.
The dashboard is home to a special panel with a ’30th-anniversary’ badge supported by blue lights.
Along with the extensive LS line-up, the Inspiration Series features a 12.3-inch infotainment system in the dashboard – now featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – as well as a Mark Levinson sound system and twin 11.6-inch entertainment screens for rear passengers.
The seats are heated and ventilated in both rows, while the rear passengers are treated to a 22-way power adjustment, electric sunshade and a cooler box.
Along with the Inspiron series, the LS line-up is gently massaged for 2020. The standard safety suite now on the LS Sports Luxury includes lane-tracing assistance that is capable of slowing the car to the curves, while the rear- and parking-speed autonomy emergency braking has also been added.
Finally, the entire series now features an updated adaptive variable suspension system, designed to hold the car’s body above the bumps, while the rear suspension mounts are now filled with liquid to cut down on body vibration.
