A Discovery of Witches, dependent on the All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness, was an instant hit and jumped to popularity when it proved in 2018.
It amassed a number of roughly two thousand viewers. The great news today for lovers is that Season 2 and even Season 3 of this series are officially on the way.
The two upcoming seasons will be based on the third and second novels: Shadow of Night and The Book of Life.

A Discovery of Witches Season 2: When is the Air Date?
The series’ network earlier announced that Season 2 would arrive in 2020, but no details were given about the release date. In December 2019, the official Twitter accounts of the show were planning to start filming in Italy shortly and shared that production had been wrapped up by the crew in the UK.
Among the directors revealed on January 7, 2020, only fourteen days’ worth of shooting was left on Twitter. But it’s unclear whether or not the current world scenario has delayed the show’s Season 2’s arrival.

What Will Season 2 of A Discovery of Witches be About?
Season 2’s storyline will be contingent on Book Two of Harkness’ All Souls trilogy. The second publication,’ Shadow of Night,’ follows Matthew and Diana as they get plunged into Elizabethan London. It involves something about spies Matthew buddies and subterfuge and the Mysterious School of Night.
The makers also hinted with the duo traveling back in time to Elizabethan London in search of a highly effective teacher for Diana in a storyline for Season.
