Sam Neill thinks Jurassic World 3 will resume filming in July

Jurassic World 3 was set to start filming this month in Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom. The team may need to wait till the end of summer, though little productions have resumed shooting. In an interview with a portal site, actor Sam Neill said that there is hope that the production of the film will continue in July.

It looks like the actor cannot wait to restart his typical life. He said he will be going to the Pinewood Studios and said that the sets are waiting there. Sam Neill returns to the franchise after 19 years after his last appearance as Dr. Alan Grant in Jurassic World 3 in 2001. His fellow co-stars Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum will retain their functions as Dr. Ellie Sattle and Dr. Ian Malcolm.

Talking about his personality’s return in a previous interview, Sam Neill said it’s very hard to get him today and that his character was traumatized twice. He said that it is something that the makers might have to workaround. Chris Pratt said in an earlier interview that Jurassic World 3 seems like the limit into the franchise.

Producer Frank Marshall assured the fans that this is far from the end of the franchise. When a magazine asked if the new film is the end of the show, it was refused by Marshall and added that it is the start of the new era. He explained that the dinosaurs are on the mainland among humankind and hoped that they will remain there for quite a while.

Jurassic World 3 was initially scheduled for a July 11, 2021 release. There could be a delay now because the makers are not able to resume production. Although the particulars of the film stay under wraps, the preceding film Jurassic Planet: Fallen Kingdom ended with all the humankind and dinosaurs forced to live together as soon as they were unleashed into the wild.
