Alexa and Katie is a American comedy sitcom created by Heather Wordham to get Netflix’s unique series. The first season of this series was premiered on 23 March 2018 with 13 episodes. The show follows the journey of lifelong best friends Alexa and Katie who have just graduated from middle school, but if Alexa was diagnosed with cancer that’s when the disaster began. In a time like that Katie becomes Alexa’s backbone and collectively they browse through high school and endure the process.
Release Date
Following three successful seasons, both Alexa and Katie are set to come back with a brand-new season. The third season of the show has two components, and the first component was received well by the audience and critics, the next part of the series aren’t yet released as the production is stopped due to the pandemic epidemic of Covid-19, however it’s anticipated that it will be out by June or July 2020. Together with the decent reviews of this very first part of year three, the creators chose to go for a different season i.e, year four together with the renewal from Netflix. There’s no official statement about the launch date of this fourth year, but we can expect it to release in mid-2021.

The major cast will reprise their various roles that include, Aris Berelc as Alexa, Isabel May like Katie, Jolie Jenkins as Jennifer, Emery Kelly as Lucas, Eddie Shin as Dave, Finn Car as Jack, Tiffani Thenisan as Lori, along with Jack Griffo as Dylan. Aside from the major cast, we could expect to see Iman Benson, Ricky Garcia, Kerri Medders, Scott Wortham, Constance Marie, and Nadja Alaya at the upcoming season.
Plot
The plot of year four is quite difficult to anticipate as the second part of the third season is still due. The creators didn’t disclose any information about the next season or another part of this third year. But it’s certain that another season will see the high school play confronted by Alexa and Katie, and how Katie will be supportive of Alexa in her therapy of cancer.
