The first rumors of an Alpine SUV are often traced back to 2015, and while Renault’s standalone performance division could be performing on a Porsche Macan rival, this isn’t it. It takes inspiration from the first A110 rally car, specifically the one that triumphed within the 1973 Monte Carlo Rally.

In 2015 Alpine chose the International Automobile Festival (FAI) to present the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo.
In January 2018, the Alpine A110 received the award for the first beautiful car of the year 2017.
In 2020, Alpine chooses the FAI for an exhibition featuring historical, present, and fantasized models whose storyline may be a back and forth between two eras and, therefore, the richness of Alpine’s history as an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
For its 3rd participation within the International Automobile Festival of the Invalides(Paris), Alpine has imagined an exhibition of latest or little-known models to the overall public: the A210 prototype, the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo, the A110 1800 – 1972 Gp4 driven by François Alessandri and Jean Pierre Manzagol, the A110 sports, an A110 “Berlinetta” 1300 of 1971 and therefore the A110S.
The A210 prototype

Alpine A110 – 1971
In 1962, Alpine launched a replacement model, the A110.
