Altered Carbon Season 2 Release Date, Cast, Plot And All The Upcoming Information

Netflix has announced the release date for season 2 of Altered Carbon. The sci-fi series will return with all eight episodes falling at once on the platform that is loading, on February 27th.

Season 2 has several new faces, including Takeshi Kovacs himself Avengers celebrity Anthony Mackie has officially replaced Joel Kinnaman in the part. Newcomers include Simone Missick as Trepp, an expert bounty hunter; James Saito as Tanaseda Hideki, a classic Yakuza boss; Lela Loren as Danica Harlan, governor of this world Harlan’s World; Dina Shihabi as Dig 301, a job-less A.I. programmed to aid in archeology; and Torben Liebrecht as Colonel Carrera, a Protectorate Special Forces unit leader. Chris Conner will reunite as Poe, the A.I. role he had in Season 1.

Based on Netflix’s series description, the plot of Altered Carbon’s next season will concentrate mostly on Takeshi Kovacs trying to reunite with his longtime love, Quellcrist Falconer, as that quest contrasts with his crime-solving mission no matter. It reads:

“Season two of the complex and compelling sci-fi movie finds Takeshi Kovacs (Anthony Mackie), the lone surviving soldier of some group of elite interstellar warriors, continuing his centuries-old search to locate his lost love Quellcrist Falconer (RenĂ©e Elise Goldsberry). After decades of planet-hopping and hunting the galaxy, Kovacs finds himself recruited straight back to his home planet of Harlan’s World of discovering Quell, with the promise. Responsible for investigating a string of brutal murders and Inspired by his past, Kovacs is astonished to find his mission to solve the crime and his pursuit to locate Quell is the same and one. With the support of his faithful A.I. Poe (Chris Conner), Kovacs should currently partner with new allies to outwit his enemies and find the truth: Who’s Quellcrist Falconer?”
