Altered Carbon is a science fiction show premiered on Netflix and the show relies on Richard K. Morgan’s cyberpunk novel. In the upcoming world where human bodies are interchangeable and death is no longer permanent, a new society has been established.
Takeshi Kovacs is the sole surviving soldier of a group of elite interstellar warriors who were conquered in an uprising against the new world order. His mind has been imprisoned for centuries and he receives an opportunity to be set free. A wealthy businessman Laurens Bancroft offers Kovacs a deal resurrection in exchange for solving a mind-numbing murder, the murder of Bancroft. Place over 300 years to the future, Altered Carbon is a dream project.
Release Date
With the second season getting positive response a third season is likely. If we examine the earlier blueprint there was a two-year difference between the first two seasons when the same is the situation this time around we can anticipate Altered Carbon Season 3 is scheduled to launch in December 2021. The teaser, trailer of the second period were released a year after the first time. Hence, it is very likely that we will need to wait for a year to have a glimpse of the third season. Let’s stay optimistic and see what happens!

Plot
The final scene of the finale ended with an obvious hint at the re-birth of Kovacs. Anthony Mackie who essayed the role of Kovacs isn’t prepared to say goodbye to the series yet and expects to bring life into the character again. But in case the normal standard is followed, we will observe a brand new casting for the role of Takeshi Kovacs. It’ll be interesting to watch the way the writers bring Kovacs to life again! Plus, everybody would love to see more interactions between Poe and Dig, their interactions have been a delight to see in the second season. For such a stellar display, the wait will surely be well worth it.
