At INR 1.8 lakh, Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 launched

Since Husqvarna unveiled the Vitpilen 250 & Svartpilen 250 at the 2019 India Bike Week. We have been very curious about both of these bikes and have been waiting impatiently for them to arrive in India. So, the wait is over now as Bajaj Auto has just launched those 250 Twins at an INR 1.8 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) introductory price.

The Vitpilen 250 is a sporty café racer with clip-on handlebars and an immersive riding stance for the associated look.

On the other hand:

The Svartpilen 250 is a rugged urban explorer with dual-purpose tires and a riding upright position.

Commenting on the launch of the Husqvarna 250 Twins, Bajaj Auto Ltd. Executive Director Rakesh Sharma said. In India, the premium motorcycle segment has seen strong growth of nearly 19 percent CAGR over the last five years. With two broad classes of motorcycles-sporty, high-performance motorcycles. And also limited-performance lifestyle motorcycles.

The Husqvarna twins are superbly crafted and will be a lifestyle performance game-changer in the segment. Because they offer a superior dynamic performance package. With a unique Swedish design language.

The Husqvarnas intended for progressive riders with an evolved taste. A strong appreciation of style and a lack of compromise between performance and sleek design. We look forward to seeing Husqvarna replicate KTM motorcycle success by targeting another. As the complementary consumer segment.

Specifications:

The Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 each share different components and parts. They mount a 248.8cc single-cylinder, DOHC. The liquid-cooled engine which produces max power of 30 PS at 9,000 rpm and peak torque of 24 Nm at 7,500 rpm. Matched to a 6-speed transmission. The engine comes with Bosch EFI.

Husqvarna motorcycles sold out of KTM showrooms in India which have upgraded to suit the Swedish brand. The Husqvarna twins sold at 100 showrooms across 45 towns starting in early March. Because the footprint will expand to nearly 400 KTM showrooms across 275 towns over the next 5 months.
