With the new drivetrain configuration and major upgradation, all we have is the new Audi’s RS5. With a much improved upgradation from it’s predecessor from RS44, which has bought more technical upgradations and a new agile styling.
The new model from the Audi has new implied vents. The Audi RS5 Coupe is available in a single variant with eight colour options.
It also supports an electronic panoramic sunroof as standard. The Audi’s new MMI system supports Apple Car-Play and has other connectivity settings such as Bluetooth and Aux-In as well. It is also packed with modern features parking assist and Audi’s virtual cockpit instrument cluster.
The Audi RS5 Coupe is a smart blends of sharp lines, soft curves and boxy wheel arches for the quintessential RS look.
There are additional air inlets on the front grille, which is wider and fatter than the one seen on the regular A5 Coupe. It also features an all new-LED ‘Matrix’ headlamps, 12-inch 10-spoke forged aluminium wheels and LED taillamps with dynamic indicators.
The new model Audi even offers an optional matte aluminium and carbon exterior package for the RS5. Yes, the Audi RS5 sure is a style statement and sets high standard for the company as well.
Like the exterior, the cabin of the RS5 feels exactly the same as the A5/S5 siblings. However, it gets unique elements such as a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, Alcantara upholstery on the dashboard and doors with aluminium/anthracite (grey) inlays, electrically-adjustable seats covered in purest leather, ambient lighting and illuminated door sills makes the car stand from it’s competition which is supposed to competes against the Mercedes-AMG C63 S and the BMW M4.
It is powered by a 2.9-litre V6 petrol engine that is aided by two turbochargers, with an overall mileage of 11 kmpl, Combined with an 8-speed Tip-tonic automatic gearbox and Audi’s quattro rear-biased AWD system.
The RS5 achieves 0-100kmph in just 3.9 seconds, Its top speed is electronically limited to 250kmph, but the company claims to improve the performance with help of speed-fuel. The price of the model is 1.11 crores (ex. showroom price) for the starting variant.
