Brooklyn Nine-Nine may not have finished its seventh season with a significant cliffhanger — particularly compared to previous decades –. Still, it did leave us with queries regarding characters’ futures and a particular yearly event.

On the 13 episodes, Jake (Andy Samberg) and Amy (Melissa Fumero) became parents, and Holt (Andre Braugher) went from beat cop to his rightful place as the group’s captain. There was, needless to say, that a heist, one that put others (including their winners) to shame with its scope.

We have observed them balance their professional and personal lives several times previously — Amy even was able to keep matters under control at the Precinct throughout the blackout when she had been in labor at the finale — but it’s quite different when a baby is involved.

This might, of course, depend on how much time will have passed between seasons, but how will now being parents alter Jake and Amy as people, their approaches for their livelihood, and any progress (if at all), and as a few?

There must be a heist. However, is there some way to high Season 7, which stretched from Halloween into Valentine’s Day to Easter and made Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) a three-time winner? Or will it go back to just being a Halloween (or another holiday, based on the timing of the episode) event? What we do understand is that the puppy Cheddar of Holt will be involved. (Let’s hope his vet doesn’t need to be .)
