Cobra Kai Season 3 Release Date, Cast, Plot, Trailer And All You Want To Know

Do you recall the Karate Kid? I am sure that’s not to ask. It was a saga that inspired all of us also learn some Karate and to take a stand for ourselves. Though we had been no-where close to being a daredevil to try the cool stunts shown from the movie, I am certain that every scene is etched onto our thoughts. If you love Karate Kid, I am certain that you’ll also adore Cobra Kai, which is an American web television show based on the 1984 movie.

Season 1 of Cobra Kai premiered on YouTube Red (currently YouTube Premium) on May 2, 2018, and received wide acclaim from everyone like the critics. The series is currently rated 100% on review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, which surmises it as”Cobra Kai continues the Karate Kid franchise using a mix of pleasantly corny nostalgia and adolescent angst, elevated by a throw of well-written characters”. IGN had this write about the first season of the series: “Johnny’s journey is one which I wish to follow along because even though the fundamentals that Cobra Kai educates are bothersome, with their”strike first, strike hard, no mercy” mantra… Johnny is hoping to do the right thing. Even if he’s somewhat misguided.”

    Cobra Kai Season 3 Cast

Let us first discuss who has already been observed in Cobra Kai Season 1. Some popular faces are William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence, Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso, and Mary Mouser as Samantha LaRusso. In the next season, Martin Kove, who played with the role of John Kreese from The Karate Kid movies, returns to the TV screens. Xolo Mariduena as Miguel Diaz Apart from him, Tanner Buchanan as Robby Keane, Courtney Henggeler as Amanda LaRusso and Mary Mouser as Samantha LaRusso are seen in Cobra Kai Season 2. We are hoping that most of the above cast members will return within the next season.

    Cobra Kai Season 3 Plot

The show starts 34 years following the famous struggle from the movie that is first and follows a Johnny Lawrence, who seeks redemption by reopening the Cobra Kai karate dojo. In doing this he reignites his rivalry with a currently powerful Daniel LaRusso, that has been struggling to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of his now-deceased mentor, Mr. Miyagi. The show is all about two guys currently addressing demons and present frustrations the only way they know-how.

Running parallel to the conflict are Daniel’s pupils and Johnny’s’ narrative arcs. Dojo has reopened to instruct pupils, but the doctrine of Johnny has. On the flip side, Robby Keene, Johnny’s estranged son, comes under the wing of Daniel, who hires the boy in his automobile dealership not knowing that Johnny is his dad. Daniel manages to instruct him on the vital lessons that his teacher Mr. Miyagi had educated him on those of equilibrium, and the belief that karate should only be used to shield oneself rather than as a means to harm others.

The end of Season 1 sees Cobra Kai, Johnny’s dojo, specifically, controversially win the All-Valley Championships. Daniel convinces the right thing to do is to start a dojo of his own, and that he decides to name Miyagi-Do as a tribute.

What’s notable about this particular series is that people who have not even seen the first movie will not be lost on what’s going on between the two sworn enemies. Their doctrine towards life and karate generally are so opposing that they become enemies again.

The inherent message of good vs bad or right of the show is easily relatable that like the original movie it immediately leaves a lasting impact on you. This is a series that has the potential to become a cult classic just like the movie. It’s characters deep-rooted within their philosophies, two sworn rivals who haven’t seen eye to eye for three years. And of course that the tone of this series only adds to the pleasure.

Both Johnny and Daniel have had problems in their lives, and karate is something which helped them endure in life and has pulled at them during those troubled times. It is like what music would be on a musician. It is their art, their principles, and it is through their art these two characters may express themselves.

Hopefully, the next season, if it occurs, will continue exploring both of these characters’ rivalries.
