Netflix’s German sci-fi thriller Dark has blown the minds of most lovers with its intricate story of time travel. The subsequent butterfly effects that interval through three generations of families who reside in the fictional small town of Winden, Germany. Currently, Dark’s third and final season is coming to put a stop to the enthralling storyline and (ideally ) show to us that the show’s remaining secrets, and it’s all happening on a significant date: June 27, 2020.
In the first season, a young boy called Mikkel goes missing from November of 2019. Throughout 18 episodes, the four amalgamated families influenced by Mikkel’s disappearance are observed during the time, namely in 1953, 1986, and 2019, which turns out to 2020 as sh*t is genuinely starting to hit the fan. Although the first season of the series proved in 2017, it seems as though the show’s founders worked two season to the future because of this. As we all understand from the season two premiere, an apocalypse is coming to Winden, and only as season two comes to a close, we’re seconds away from the case, which occurs on you guessed it June 27, 2020.
