Debut: The 2020 Benelli TNT 600 Makes Its Official Debut

The TNT is known as the QJ SRK 600 under the sister company QJ Motor that focuses on larger and more premium bikes.

Benelli’s 2020 TNT 600 reveals its production form in China. So the mid displacement streetfighter is known as the SRK 600 under Benelli’s sister brand QJ Motor. The motorcycle features a new look for 2020 and comes with the pack segment’s first features such as keyless ignition and backlit switches. It’s available in three options Standard, Medium, and High. With four new color options red, black, white, and blue.

However, powering the TNT is a 600 cc inline four-cylinder motor which makes less power than the BS4 model. Also with just a smidge more torque. For reference, the 2020 model makes 81.5 PS of peak power with 11,000rpm. With 55Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm and mated to a 6-speed gearbox. So this is 3.57 PS less power but 0.4 Nm more torque than the outgoing model. The motor will comply with the BS6 emission norms whenever it comes to India.

Variants Of 2020 Benelli TNT 600:

The three variants here are different in terms of hardware. The standard variant gets its suspension and brake setup from Benelli. While the Medium specification variant features underpinnings from KYB and Xihu respectively. But the top variant specification comes with a Marzocchi USD fork, a monoshock from KYB, and brakes from Brembo.

The 2020 Benelli TNT 600 is 20 mm slimmer than before. The motorcycle gets a 20mm shorter wheelbase (1,460 mm) which should improve its handling. And 2020 Benelli TNT 600 is 33 kg lighter than the outgoing TNT 600.

2020 Benelli has put in some serious work to make the 2020 TNT 600 more appealing. The motorcycle looks sleeker and sharper than the outgoing model. Also, the front end features a new LED headlight that seems like it’s ‘inspired’ from the Kawasaki Z1000. With golden USD forks and an underbelly exhaust that help differentiate the 2020 model from its BS4 counterpart.

However, we believe the improvements in the bike make the 2020 TNT 600 a better value for money proposition. The price of the bike starts at Rs 7 lakh.
