Reacting to a fan’s comment about filing a request for the launch/filming of another season, among the stars of Derry Girls, Nicola Coughlan, hinted about Season 3 of Derry Girls to commence filming sometime next year during one of her tweets. “No need for a petition we are filming Derry Girls 3 next year!” She tweeted.
Writer/creator Lisa McGee has promised that Season 3 is going to introduce new faces and characters. “There are lots of new guest characters, too. In each episode, we have a new big guest celebrity come in,” she confirmed.
