Derry Girls is a British sitcom created and written by Lisa McGee. Produced by Hat Trick Productions, it is set in Derry, Northern Ireland in the 1990s.
The main storyline of this series revolves around Erin and her friends as they born and brought up in an armed police world in armored Land Rovers and British Army checkpoints in 1990s Northern Ireland and attempt to navigate the highs and lows of being teenagers.
Its first season was released on 4 January 2018 and the second season was released on 5 March 2019 with 6 episodes each
Derry Girls already released its two seasons and is all set to release the third one. The first season got a 100% rating from Rotten Tomatoes. The second season got a 97% rating from Rotten Tomatoes.

Derry Girls season 3 Plot
The story revolves around Erin, Orla, Clare and Michelle, and James exploring their adolescence after the Troubles in Derry.
Erin’s family lives with the maternal side of her family. James is Michelle’s cousin; his mother Cathy left Derry to have an abortion but gave birth to him. She raised him in London but sent him back to Derry to live with Michelle’s family as Cathy goes through a divorce.
The plot of Season 3 of Derry Girls will feature the perfect mix of madness followed by a sense of consciousness.
