Netflix’s widely popular anime, Violet Evergarden might be launching a new season sooner than anyone expected. Awarded the ‘ Best Animation’ at the 2019 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, the series has become quite a fan favourite. Initially, it was supposed to be a single-season show, but owing to the huge fanbase and a multitude of requests, the creators have decided to go ahead with another season.
Plot Till Now
The story is set in a typical girl’s academy, where only girls from wealthy influential backgrounds are allowed to join. Isabella York finds this place of glitter and glamour a glorified prison. Isabella has been forced by her parents to enter the institution, and she hates it. However, everything changes when she meets her tutor, Violet Evergarden. The series later focuses on Taylor, a young orphan girl from Isabella’s past who develops a relationship with Benedict, Violet’s colleague.
Season 2 Cast
The cast members of season 1 will be returning for another season of Violet Evergarden. The voice artists Yui Ishikawa and Takehito Koyasu will be back in action in the new Season. The characters set to play a significant role I’m season 2 include the protagonist Violet voiced by Yui Ishikawa, Minako Kotobuki as Isabella, Aoi Yuuki as Taylor, Takehito Koyasu as Claudia And Diasuke Namikawa as Gilbert.
What To Expect From The Plot
Season 1 left fans with many questions unanswered. Season 1 left us with so much more to explore which will give Season 2 a lot of possibilities to work with and keep fans gripped to the show. Fans have a lot of questions like Who is exactly is Gilbert? Is Gilbert dead? And who Violet’s parents are. All these questions are sure to leave fans intrigued in search of their answers.
Season 2 Release Date
Creators had initially declared that Season would likely be released by late 2020 or early 2021. However, the pandemic outbreak changes everything. Almost all shows and movies have seen s setback in release dates due to the outbreak, and Violet Evergarden is no exception. They are no official confirmation as such but don’t expect season 2 be released earlier than 2021. Now, all we can do wait and watch.
