It was very surprising that a Western dating reality tv show brought in the concept of arrange marriage. It piqued interest and caught attention globally, more to the point because the show helped in discovering love.

The series created by Chris Coelen and is produced by Kinetic Content. The show premiered on February 13, 2020, and since then, it has been renewed for a second show. The show has been compared to the likes of The Bachelor and Married in First Sight.

Love Is Blind Season 2: Release Date and Cast

On March 24, 2020, the show was renewed for a season. There’s no official date as of now, but we’re expecting it to come out in 2021. The season took around one and a half years to create and release. It may be a very long wait before the next season.

The first season had ten episodes within a three-week event. The fundamental premise follows thirty men and women hoping to locate love via a speed-dating arrangement. They date without confronting one another and communication through their personal pair’ pods’. The man proposes for marriage if they believe that they are in love and then they come face-to-face to find out who they’ve been speaking to.

They get a chance together before marriage and live together as couples. They decide if they want to be together or go their different ways. The series is a variant of the Indian method of arranged marriage. Non-fiction Series at Netflix’s Vice-President, Brandon Riegg, said:

“It has been incredible to see Netflix members everywhere respond to the raw, authentic tales of real people and actual stakes”

A trailer to the season is much away. We can’t expect anything until the release date drops.

What Can Happen in Future for the Series?

We know that the show was renewed for a second and a third season. However, does the series want to continue in the future? Coelen told Variety:’We’ll be doing 20 seasons’ In a meeting with OprahMag.com, he said, “I wish to see a season two or a season 12, do not you?” He said that there might be as many as”15 or 20 seasons”.
