Formula 1 confirms 2020 Azerbaijan, Singapore and Japanese Grand Prix cancelled

Due to the pandemic, Formula 1 cancels 2020 Azerbaijan, Singapore, and the Japanese Grand Prix. And it is confirmed the news.

In the early days of this month, Formula 1 announced the eight opening races of the season from the revised calendar. And it begins with the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring. This is to take place in the first week of July. We must acknowledge that the Formula 1 officials are working hard to make a revised calendar. They still have a long season before them to fill up. We may guess for 15 to 18 confident races. And it will be by the time season reaches Abu Dhabi in mid-December. We may expect a new calendar by the beginning of the Austrian races.

But for today, the Azerbaijan, Japanese and Singapore stand to cancel for the calendar year 2020. According to one of the F1 officials, the decision was taken by promotes the places, and due to the increasing challenges. Some places need different tracks, while some have travel restrictions. The new forced challenges may allow them to go for new enthusiastic promoters and find new circuits as well. But Formula 1 reminded that they believe in a cause. They know it is a time for uncertainty and complexity. So they will move on for a smooth 2020 season, with cautious steps.
