Grace and Frankie is an American comedy web television series created by Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris for Netflix. The series stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin in the title roles of Grace and Frankie, two unlikely friends who are brought together after their husbands announce that they are in love with each other and plan to get married.
Its first season was released on 8 May 2015, and the second season was released on 6 May 2016, the third season was aired on 24 March 2017. The fourth season was released on 19 January 2018, and the fifth season was released on 18 January 2019. The sixth and latest season was released 15 January 2020 with 13 episodes each.
Season 1 got a 56% rating, and the second season got a 91% rating, the third one got a 100% rating, the fourth season got a 100% rating. The fifth season got a 100% rating again, and the latest season i.e., season 6, got a 100% rating from Rotten Tomatoes.
After season 6, the creators have also announced the seventh season with 16 episodes, but the official release date has not been confirmed.
Grace And Frankie season 6 Plot
The friendship between Grace and Frankie is seen to be changing too. The story picks up from, Grace officially becoming Mrs. Nick Skolka. Grace had already fled with her wealthy suitor Nick ( played by Peter Gallagher) at the end of Season 5, and Season 6 is picking up pace with the newlywed appreciating the new-age commodities that are the benefits of being a wealthy housewife that come with while she continues to work on her latest brainchild that has been taken up as a new business plan.
