I Am Not Okay with This is an American coming-of-age comedy-drama web television series, based on the comic book of the same name by Charles Forsman. It was first premiered on Netflix. The series has so far completed its 1 season. Season 1 was first aired on February 17th, 2020, and has 7 episodes. The series got a rating of 86% from Rotten Tomatoes and 7.6/10 from IMDb. The fans loved the show.

I Am Not Okay With This Season 2 Cast

The final cast list has not been confirmed yet but we can safely assume that series lead Sophia Willis will return in the role of Sydney, while other members of the main cast, such as Wyatt Oleff (Stanley Barber), Sofia Bryant (Dina), Kathleen Rose Perkins (Maggie) and Aidan Wojtak-Hissong (Liam) are also likely to appear again. One person we can probably rule out seeing more of is Richard Ellis – whose character Brad meets a rather grisly end at the climax of season one. Fresh faces are also expected to be seen in season 2 of the show.

I Am Not Okay With This Season 2 Plot

Aside from dealing with the bloody aftermath of prom, Sydney’s biggest concern moving forward is the shadowy figure who revealed himself at the end of season one. While it’s safe to assume he’s her “dead” father, this still doesn’t explain where he’s been or why he’s waited so long to return. Unfortunately, the source material is no help in this regard either. Not only is the original graphic novel far darker, but author Charles Forsman wrote that as a standalone story with a very definitive ending. Given how much the show has already deviated from this, the writers will continue venturing into bold new territory for future seasons.
