The fourth part of the Indiana Jones movie came over a decade earlier. Title of the movie was Indiana Jones movie – Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. And now after so many years, Indiana Jones 5 is on it’s way. The script was written by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg was the director. Along with them the lead character, Harrison Ford had a talk about bringing the fifth part of the movie. However, all these are based on mere speculation. But finally in 2016 the film’s arrival was finally confirmed. And it’s four years after this announcement but the film hasn’t hit the box office yet.

The main characters are expected to reprise their roles. However, there are news that Lucas, who was also in Star Wars will not continue with his character. Thus, we will not get to see him in the upcoming movie of the franchise. Even director Steven Spielberg was going to join the fifth movie but he is also not a part of the project. And now there is news that James Mangold will take over the direction of the movie. The scriptwriter, on the other hand will remain the same, that is David Koepp.
When Will Indiana Jones 5 Hit The Big Screens?
The release date of the movie got delayed due to so many changes in the cast and direction. At first the movie was going to release in July 2019. Then the date got shifted to 10th July, 2020. But this also didn’t work due to the pandemic. Then finally Disney has decided that the movie will release on 29th July 2022. Thus, fans have to wait for two long years to watch the movie.
We really hope that the film finally releases on the fixed date. Since no one knows what will happen in future. Previously also the production and direction of the movie has gone through a lot of difficulties.
Shooting for the movie was supposed to begin this year. But again this got delayed due to the pandemic and now nothing can be said about the film’s future.
