American automobile company Jeep India (Jeep India) has officially launched its SUV (SUV) car Compass in India with BS6 fuel emission standards.
The prices of this SUV have also been revealed with the official launching of the Jeep Compass BS6. The price of Jeep Compass BS6 has increased from Rs 89,000 to Rs 1.38 lakh as compared to the BS4 model.
The Jeep Compass BS6 comes with 163 PS 1.4-liter turbo-petrol and 173 PS, 2.0-liter diesel engines. It gets options like a 6-speed manual, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and 9-speed automatic gearbox.
The Jeep Compass BS6 starts at an ex-showroom price in Delhi from Rs 16.49 lakh, which goes up to Rs 24.99 lakh. That is, its initial price has increased by Rs 89,000. At the same time, the ex-showroom price of Compass BS6 diesel starts at Rs 17.99 lakh, which is Rs 1.38 lakh more than the old BS4 model.
These variants are discontinued
Along with updating the engine according to the new BS6 fuel standards, Jeep has now discontinued the entry-level Sport (Sport) variants of the Compass SUV. Also, the Sport Plus (Sport Plus) variant has now become the base variant. Apart from this, the company has also discontinued the Longitude (O) and Limited variants. So now only the Sport Plus, Longitude, Longitude Plus, and Limited Plus variants are available in this model.
Features of Sport Plus
The new Jeep Compass BS6 Sport Plus has priced between Rs 16.49 lakh and Rs 17.49 lakh. Talking about the features, it has features such as power-adjustable wing mirrors, 16-inch alloy wheel, dual-zone climate control as well as 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Talking about safety features, it offers features such as rear disc brakes, electronic stability control, electronic parking brake, two airbags, and traction control.
Features of Compass Longitude
Compass Longitude has an ex-showroom price of Rs 19.40 lakh to Rs 21.96 lakh in Delhi. Apart from the features found in the Sport Plus variant, it gets some other features such as 17-inch alloy wheels, a parking camera, power-folding wing mirrors, keyless entry and go, as well as front and rear fog lamps.
Features of Compass Longitude Plus
Compass Longitude Plus has priced between Rs 19.69 lakh and Rs 22.86 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. Apart from the features found in Compass Longitude, it also gets some other features like rails, bi-Zenon HID headlights, LED DRLs, and leather seats.
Features of Top Variants Limited Plus
The top variant Limited Plus of the new Jeep Compass BS6 ex-showroom price in Delhi is between 21.92 Lakh to 24.99 Lakh. Apart from the lower models, it also gets some high-end features like a panoramic sunroof, dual-tone colors, LED tail-lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, automatic headlights and wipers, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 8-way adjustable power driver seat.
The new Jeep Compass BS6 will compete in the Indian market with SUVs like the Volkswagen T-Roc (Volkswagen T-Roc) and Skoda Karoq (Skoda Karok).
