Kawasaki Versys 1000 BS6 update is here.

BS6 has brought upon us an all-new series of updated cars and bikes. Kawasaki Versys has been announced at a  price tag of 10.99 lakh rupees. After the automakers shredded with a huge discount of 1 lakh rupees on the W800, Versys is about 30,000 more than the 2018 model. Kawasaki claims that the Versys 1000 has been BS6-compliant in India since its last update in 2019. But still, Versys is an affordable buy-in this tourer segment in India.

The performance chart looks to be the same. The new bike gets the Ninja 1000’s 1,043cc, inline, four-cylinder engine,  producing 120hp at 9,000rpm and 102Nm of torque at 7,500rpm, which is identical to that of the 2019 Versys 1000. The bike has 17-inch alloy wheels on both front and rear. The adjustable windscreen, LED headlights and the digital instrument cluster remains the same as well. The basic riding features have been carried on to the 2020 model as well. The Versys include the Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), cruise control, Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF), and the Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS). In short, Kawasaki Versys 1000 BS6 is a powerful bike with safety aids to take care of the hauling beast.

Kawasaki Ninja has always been a craze for Indian youth. With the addition of Versys 1000 The tourers had another big brand to look to. The love of the Indian buyers towards bikes is unconditional. Kawasaki has set up a great base camp in India. With Versys-X 300 and Versys 650 the line-up is strong and bold.
