Living Abroad, Amazon’s new must-watch football documentary series follows the fortunes of four great Spanish football players as they pursue their game outside of their home country.
WHAT IS THE SERIES ABOUT?
It is the story of four Spanish football players, Xavi Hernández, David Villa, Javi Martínez and Juan Mata, who face ups and downs in their careers as they play on teams outside of Spain. Moreover, you will witness the personal side of these football stars, as you go through their private lives.
WHEN DID THE SERIES PREMIERE?
The series, consisting of four episodes was launched on Amazon Prime Video in the UK on June 5th, 2020, on the 10th anniversary of Spain winning the World Cup in South Africa.

Living Abroad is produced by Atresmedia Studios. Jorge Pérez Vega and Ignacio Corrales are executive producers, and Sonia López is the director. It will join the selection of scripted sports content available on Prime Video, in addition to the Amazon Original series El Corazón de Sergio Ramos, Six Dreams, and All or Nothing.
WHEN WILL SEASON 2 RELEASE?
As of now, nothing can be said. They are living Abroad season 1 just released on Amazon Prime Videos in the UK. It is yet to reach a larger audience. The makers have not released any official news regarding the renewal of Living Abroad for a second season. Suppose the critics give a positive response, only after that the makers might decide to announce a second season in the future. However, it will take quite a long time to produce a second season given the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
