Lucifer has stood out to become one of the most original crime-solving series to date. Since the season the series has improved minimally sorting out everything that needs to be sorted out of the series such as Tom Ellis’ renewal and contract. With that out of the way, when will the next pair of investigations take place? We would’ve been appreciating the fourth season last month if everything could’ve gone as planned.
The series finished with Lucifer (Tom Ellis) returning to his place as King of Hell. Reluctant, it’s the only way he knows bring peace, and that could save Hell.
Due to the present pandemic, productions have closed, and Lucifer’s was no exception. Reportedly, the show just needed a couple of times to wrap up the season. Unfortunate, but we are still expecting to come in 2020. There has not been a whole lot of news going around since the entertainment industry shut down besides the renewal of Tom’s contract.
Indeed, we would be visiting the series’ fifth season to be released in two components. One part of which is a successful compilation of the shooting. But, we still cannot be sure. Ildy Modrovich, the series’ producer, said that she’d finished episode 15 and proceeded to chapter 16 when the productions have shut off.
With this, we can conclude that the first half of the series has been filmed and possibly even prepared to release. If each episode was filmed 13, there’s no confirmation. Just in case everything’s all said and done (at least to the first part), then we might be anticipating the first part to ring our doorbells throughout the fall of this season.
