Netflix is renewing Lucifer for the fifth season that will essentially be the final season of the series.
In a recent interview, the showrunners, Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich voiced their gratitude towards Netflix, stating, “We are incredibly thankful to Netflix for reviving our shows last season. Additionally, we wish to thank the fans for their full passion and support. We assure you that the best is yet to be witnessed.”
Lucifer Season 5: Release date
We are expecting that it might release in 2020 since there’s not any news about the specific release date. Also, the fifth season is going to be split into two parts. As in a recent interview, Tom Ellis showed that:” The season five is going to be published in 2 parts. Netflix will fall eight episodes initially, then after a small break, another eight episodes”
Although, it may get a little delayed due to virus outbreak all over the world.
Lucifer Season 5: Cast
It is confirmed that we will see Tom Ellis as the character in the series. Other figures might include, Lauren German spine as Detective Chloe Decker, alongside Kevin Alejandro as Detective Dan Espinoza, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, DB Woodside as Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen and Scarlett Estevez as Trixie Espinoza, along with Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin.
Lucifer Season 5: Plot
In season four, Lucifer tried to reclaim his throne and also defeated the demons, although he knew they’d return. But it’s not sure whether he’ll remain good.
Speaking about Chloe Decker (Lauren German), ” she had been abandoned by Lucifer in season four, but there are rumors that she’d be back in the fifth year.
