Bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, Lucifer Morningstar abandoned his throne and retired to Los Angeles, where he has teamed up with APD detective Chloe Decker to take down criminals. The series received many positive reviews. The audiences loved the show and the great performance given by each character.
This series has completed 4 seasons. Season 2 was released on September 19th, 2016, and has 18 episodes. Season 3 was being released on October 2nd, 2017 with 26 episodes and season 4 is of 10 episodes and was released on May 8th, 2019.
LUCIFER Season 5 Plot
A big question that is being raised is- Can Chloe forgive Lucifer for leaving? This season will be one crucial one for the series because this being the last season to this series, the writer would look to settle the unanswered questions. The main focus on season 4 is centered on the conflict that Chloe feels after discovering the dark side of Lucifer at the end of season 3. At the end of season 4 after confessing his love to Chloe he returns to the throne of hell and therefore his rightful position.

The lockdown has delayed the release of the new season of Lucifer. The trailer will be dropped as soon as an official release date will be declared. Season 5 Lucifer might be released towards the end of 2020 or early 2021. It is being suspected that new faces will be seen in season 5.
