The Matrix franchise has amazed every time to the viewers they release a movie. A 4th was declared, although it’s been quite a while since the last Matrix movie premiered.
After the 3rd movie was released, the producers of these movies had no plan of making a brand new one. But later in 2017, Warner Bros. announced they were in the first phases of creating the 4th part of the legendary franchise.
Matrix 4 will be composed in addition to directed by Lana Wachowski and would be produced by both Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures, each of which also produced the prior parts of the franchise.

Although the filming of this film was halted due to this COVID-19 pandemic throughout March of the year, the Release Date.
Has been repaired, and it is set to be published on May 21, 2021. A year from now!
Nothing about the movie’s plot has been shown, and it is hard to make any speculations. The franchise had supposedly finished some time back, many fans have confused but has excited them!
The whole Cast was revealed, and there are some shocking actors which you wouldn’t have even thought you’d see in a Matrix film! It’s as follows:

- Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity
- Jada Pinkett Smith as Niobe
- Lambert Wilson as The Merovingian
A dozen more actors are in the Cast-list, but their roles haven’t been announced as of yet. They are:

- Yahya Abdul-Mateen II

Neither a Trailer nor a Teaser has been released till now, but when the quarantine life ends, we are very likely to see one! Watch out for this!
