New V8 Supercars calendar Leads to Bathurst

“However, the calendar has been devised in this manner that we have managed to keep the spacing between the rounds, for both health and price reasons,” explained Mr. Seamer. “We think it makes it possible for us to keep our nationwide footprint, which is actually important to us”

Perth will run through daylight hours instead of the night occasion that is, Sandown and while Tasmania is going to be conducted before Christmas.

Besides the two occasions, all rounds around the calendar are going to be held within two weeks — using the race formats not yet been declared — and it’s not yet been determined when and if audiences will be permitted in the circuits. All of V8 Supercar rounds except that the Formula 1 Grand Prix support race along with the road circuits of Gold Coast and Newcastle will be kept, but on a timetable that is brand new.

“We are buoyed by the discussions we are having with country authorities and eager for the two Winton and Bathurst to visit Stage Two and also the capability for campgrounds to start,” explained Mr. Seamer. “So we are going to be working with both of the state authorities on camping programs for those occasions.”
