Nissan Magnite And Kicks SUV Also Costlier In The New Year

Nissan India has increased the prices of its Magnite and Kicks SUVs from January. Prices of some variants of both the SUVs have been hiked by up to Rs 25,000. According to Nissan, it was necessary to raise the prices of the vehicles due to the rising cost of parts as well as other parts.

The Nissan Magnite SUV was launched at the end of the year 2020. It was launched at an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 4.99 lakh. While the initial ex-showroom price of Nissan Kicks SUV was Rs 9.49 lakh. These prices are before the price hike.

How Much Did The Price Increase

Following the latest price hike, the ex-showroom prices of the Nissan Magnite SUV now start at Rs 5.76 lakhs and Rs 9.98 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the top-spec XV Premium Turbo CVT (XV Premium Turbo CVT) variant. Goes to Prices of the Magnite used to start from Rs 5.71 lakh (ex-showroom) before the hike and go up to Rs 9.89 lakh for the top variant. The maximum hike has been done up to Rs 9,000 for the Magnite variants.

Most Affordable SUV

Nissan Magnite SUV

The Nissan Magnite was the most affordable SUV in India when it was launched. Later its rival Renault Kiger (Renno Kiger) claimed the title. But it lost again after the recent price hike. That is, the Nissan Magnite has once again become the cheapest SUV. The price difference between the Magnite and the Kiger is now just Rs 3,000 for the base variants.

Nissan Kicks Price

On the other hand, the prices of the 5-seater Nissan Kicks SUV have also increased this month. In 2020, Nissan launched the Kicks SUV in India with a turbo option. Since then its initial ex-showroom price is Rs 9.49 lakh. The top-spec 1.3 Turbo XV Premium CVT variant was priced at Rs 14.15 lakh ex-showroom, which was later increased to Rs 14.65 lakh (ex-showroom).

How Much Increase

After the latest price hike, there has been no difference in the price of the base variant of the SUV. However, the price of the Haier variants has been increased by at least Rs 20,000. The prices of the Kicks model with 1.3-litre engine have been specially hiked. The top variant has received a price hike of Rs 25,000 and is now priced at Rs 14.90 lakh, ex-showroom.
