Not only this, it took just 4.49 seconds for this car to reach the speed of 193 kmph.

As an electric car, the Battista’s mechanism is extremely balanced, it covers only 102 feet from zero to 100 kmph, which is itself a record for an electric vehicle.

Power and performance of the Pininfarina Battista:

Pininfarina announced the introduction of the electric car for the first time in 2018, after which a powerpacked car was expected. The car includes four electric motors that generate 1,900 hp and 1,696 ft lbs torque. The maximum speed of this car is 349 kilometers (217 miles) per hour. However, this is not a record as it is owned by the Nevera, which has a top speed of 411 kmph. A 120-kWh battery pack has been given in this car and the company claims that this car gives a driving range of up to 482 kilometers in a single charge. The Battista was first introduced around 4 years back and is named after the company’s founder, Battista Farina.

After which Michael Perschke, former director of Audi India, took over the responsibility of leading a new Mahindra & Mahindra Limited EV project. Following this project, Mahindra announced the launch of Automobili Pininfarina at the Formula-E electric car race 2018 Rome E-Prix on 13 April 2018.
