Pirates Of The Caribbean 6: Release Date, Cast, Plot, Trailer And How Old Captain Jack Sparrow Is In Each Movie?

Captain Jack Sparrow portrayed by Johnny Depp, is the heart of this Pirates of the Caribbean Movies. However, is the pirate in every movie?

How does Captain Jack Sparrow’s age alter throughout the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise? Since sailing into theatres with The Curse of the Black Pearl in 2003, Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow has been the undisputed face of this Disney film series. Other figures have come and gone but Captain Jack remains the common thread through every adventure, with much of the Pirates of the Caribbean mythology based around the swashbuckling exploits of Depp’s most iconic portrayal.

What’s the release date of Pirates of the Caribbean 6?

Considering that the script for Pirates of the Caribbean 6 has not been completed and passed to Disney as of June 2020, there’s no release date to mention. Based on whether the story needs a major overhaul or minor adjustments — and by depending on how or whether the current state of the amusement sector, the job is affected — until Pirates of the Caribbean 6 hits theatres, it might be a lengthy time.

That said, we can turn to past movies to piece together a possible timeline. Let’s use the franchise entry, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. It was reported way back in December 2010, six months ahead of the release of On Stranger Tides in May 2011, which Disney planned to take at the fifth and sixth Pirates films” back-to-back as one giant movie,” to be published separately. Only Pirates 5 survived that plan. Disney fought for a moment to secure a manager after a script draft was written by longtime franchise scribe Terry Rossio. Pirates 1 through 3 directors Gore Verbinski passed then Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning were hired, the script of Rossio had been scrapped, and the procedure that was pre-filming began over from square one.

Pirates Of The Caribbean 6

An initial release date announcement for the movie didn’t come until July 2014, three years before Dead Men Tell No Tales launched in theatres. Deadline declared in November 2014 that Brenton Thwaites was cast as Will and Elizabeth’s son Henry Turner — a news fall came two and a half years before the movie was released in May 2017.

Taking all that into account and understanding Pirates 6 is in development right now, it may be as many as four years until we see Pirates of the Caribbean 6, judging from the timeline its predecessor operated on.

Who’s in the cast of Pirates of the Caribbean 6?

Nobody has officially joined the Pirates 6 cast, but a favorite rumor is that Disney wants Karen Gillan to lead the movie, which will allegedly be based around a female lead (more on that in a little ). The Guardians of the Galaxy actress is one of the celebrities of the Jumanji reboot film show — and as a Destiny film celebrity, she would earn a fantastic match for the Pirates franchise. There also have been rumors that Disney is considering Emma Watson to the next Pirates Movies after she amazed at her star turn from Beauty and the Beast. Heck, there was chatter that Zac Efron would play a Jack Sparrow. Of course, these rumors are only rumors until Disney goes ahead and makes casting announcements.

Potential new franchise additions aside, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales actress Kaya Scodelario (who played Captain Barbossa’s daughter Carina Smyth) told ScreenRant in 2017 that she’s contractually obligated to look in a more Pirates movie. It’s possible that the movie could just pick up in which the fifth left off with much of the same cast — such as Orlando Bloom, that has been reported to reunite as Will Turner. But it is not even clear whether or not Johnny Depp will look in another film. As Pirates of the Caribbean executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer informed Collider in May 2020, “The [script] we are developing right now, we’re not sure quite what Johnny’s function will be. Thus, we’re going to need to see.”

What’s the plot of Pirates of the Caribbean 6?

As mentioned before, in February 2019, Disney announced that Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick had exited Pirates 6 (via Deadline). Later in the year, Craig Mazin and Ted Elliott replaced them. In a December 2018 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sean Bailey, the now-president of manufacturing at Walt Disney Studios, said he wished to”bring in brand new energy and vitality” to the franchise — which Reese and Wernick had been tasked with giving the movie string a”kick in the pants.” With the advent of Elliott and Mazin and the location of Wernick, have strategies changed? Is Disney looking to go a more traditional route? It’s difficult, maybe impossible, to say for sure.

However, as with everything, we could turn to the latest Pirates of the Caribbean film to make some educated guesses concerning the storyline of the next movie. Dead Men Tell No Tales featured a post-credits scene that teased the return of Davy Jones (Bill Nighy) within an antagonist; the Flying Dutchman captain sneaks into Will and Elizabeth’s room as they sleep, prepares to attack them, and abruptly vanishes. Will believes he is dreaming, but the barnacles on the ground he can’t see prove Jones was there. One could readily assume this means Jones will be involved in the Pirates movie. Pirates movies have not always stayed on a constant timeline. The fourth film in the series, On Stranger Tides, is a prequel couple before The Curse of the Black Pearl. The sixth movie focus on pirates in between the films, or could go back in time. We might not hear until the eighth or seventh POTC film again from Davy Jones.

Many fans — including ScreenRant’s Lauren Coates — have argued that Pirates of the Caribbean 6 ought to concentrate on Redd, a once-problematic character in the original Pirates of the Caribbean theme park ride. In the original version of the attraction, Redd was a captive being sold at a bride auction. In 2018, the journey was upgraded and Redd became a pirate auctioning off the goods she stole out of the village. Gillan’s alleged participation with Pirates 6 could certainly turn that idea into a more solid concept because the figure in the ride and she has hair.

Is there a trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean 6?

Since the script is still being developed as of June 2020, a trailer for its sixth Pirates of the Caribbean film is barely a star in Disney’s eye. Until then, it is possible to observe the four Pirates of the Caribbean films — The Curse of the Black Pearl At Stranger Tides, and World’s End. Dead Men Tell No Tales is currently on Hulu, also will join other people on Disney+ on July 24, 2020.

Soon enough, the forces that be will take things out from under wraps and we will learn more about what Pirates of the Caribbean 6 has in store. It will be good to get back to the high seas for another adventure after all this time who the film ends up being about or when we eventually get to see it.
