Rare Ferrari 599 GTO Has just 168 Miles to Sale

Per year it was powered for less than 20 miles on average.
Once the 599 Gran Turismo Omologata came out in 2010. It had some major shoes to fill as Ferrari was the only third model to wear the famed “GTO” logo after the legendary 250 GTO from the 1960s. And the 288 GTO introduced in the 1980s. Just 599 cars have made. But the one featured here – designed in 2011. It much rarer because it one of the first 125 examples produced for the US market.

It’s not the only thing that makes it different, because of the outstanding performance since in nine years the supercar not used practically at all.
It displays only 168 miles (270 kilometers) on the odometer. Which goes to prove that it was a commercial venture to simply use. And enjoy from day one rather than a supercar.

This would be hard for any of us to fight the lure of getting behind the wheel and pull out the gritty 599 for a spin, but it seems that the owner has always kept it a queen garage.
Essentially a road-going version of the 599XX sports car. A decade after its introduction the GTO still has some outstanding technical specs. The 6.0-liter V12 engine produces 661 horsepower 457 pound-feet (620 Newton-meter) torque. And allows 0-62 mph (0-100 km / h) to run in just 3.35 seconds. While the 0-124 mph (0-200 km / h) sprint takes 9.8 seconds on the way to a top speed of more than 208 mph (335 km / h).
This unique case of Rosso Corsa with a tan interior has a plaque entitled “Ferrari 31 Formula 1 World Titles.” And the Prancing Horse emblem on the headrests. As for all other GTOs. It’s almost 100 kilograms (220 pounds) lighter than the 599 GTB. And switches gears in just 60 milliseconds or almost twice as fast as the standard model transmission.
