Re: Zero − Starting Life in Another World is a Japanese manga series adapted from a novel series of the same name. Tappei Nagatsuki is the writer of the series and is illustrated by Shin’ichirō Ōtsuka. The director of the show is Masaharu Watanabe and is produced by Sho Tanaka, Masahito Ikemoto, Yoshikazu Beniya, Aya Iizuka, Kazuo Onuki and Eriko Aoki. The show was aired first aired on April 4th, 2016, with 14 episodes as season 1. The series was also nominated for Anime of the year at The Anime awards 2016.

The cast joining for the second season is expected to be quite excellent. However, most of the cast members from the previous season, including Rem, Emilia, Subaru Natsuki, Wilhelm van Astrea, and Roswaal L Mathers, will be returning for the second season of the show.

Season 2 of Re zero will continue from where season 1 of the show ended. Season 2 will carry from after the battle. At the ending of season 1, we saw Natsuki Subaru get success within the witch cult. Season 2 depends on the predictions based on the novel series from which it is adapted.

Re zero season 2 is to be released years after the release of season 1 of the show. The fans are excited about the new season and are demanding to release it sooner. Earlier Re zero season 2 was to be released in April 2020. But due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the productions got delayed. There is no official release date, but season 2 of Re zero will come with more thrill.
