Morty and Rick stopped its fourth season with one of its greatest and most important finales. The Smith family learned a little, laughed a little, and managed to bring down an empire for the next time. And since the dust of conflict stinks, it’s looking as the series will feature two variations of Beth Smith going forward.

Rick and Morty season 5 release date: episodes may arrive faster
There is no release date for season 5 yet, but we know the likely ten episodes are fairly far along on its own path to Swim in the US and E4 (and later Netflix) in the united kingdom. Talking to Film, co-creator Justin Roiland said while”season 5 is largely in the can,” which”it is largely dependent on how quick the episodes can get generated.”
Although that’s evidently up to Adult Swim, he went on to float the concept of a monthly release schedule for season 5. “I think if they [Adult Swim] have the full ten episodes, they’ll release them without a split,” he explained. “I’ve been saying we ought to drop an episode every month, just make it a large event […] If you’re doing one a month, the show is living the entire year and you are still buying us all the time we need to create them as good as they need to become.”
In any event, there is a chance we might not have to wait between seasons as we have. Season 3 was postponed for two years, but the wait was longer due to contract negotiations between Harmon Roiland and Adult Swim. Roiland agreed: “We’ve personalities that don’t really age, it’s very Simpsons-esque. There’s so much we can do to keep driving this train.”
