On Monday afternoon in Austria, a new title sponsor announced alongside the new livery. With BWT extending a relationship that already included the famous pink paint scheme. Team Principal Otmar Szafnauer is expecting even more success this year after strongly finished last season and claims podiums could be on the cards with the new car.

Here I will make a prediction. Szafnauer said. I expect they’re going to be drinking water before the race. After a race this year they’re both going to be on the podium at least once they’ve drunk the champagne.

While a podium would be an excellent result. Szafnauer still targets high when it comes to the overall championship of constructors. Asking Racing Point to jump ahead of McLaren, Renault, and AlphaTauri in 2019.

We want to be a strong fourth this year, we want to be closer to the top three than we have been in the past and we want to be at the top of the midfield.
