Spenser Confidential was just another of the list of action comedies of Hollywood. March, directed by Peter Berg, the film premiered this. The film is based on a novel by Ace Atkins, released in 2013. The film follows a simple plot of a man needing to take bad guys down.
It was a pretty successful movie. But many believed that was the end of the line for the movie. However, as it happens, that may be the case. Believe it or not, Spenser Confidential could be coming with a sequel.
Can There Be a Sequel To Spenser Confidential?
For those lovers of the book, this would be news that is great. As there appears to be a risk that they may see their hero return. It had been evident that the film ended on a cliffhanger, which could now set the foundation for the evolution of the story, as the first movie ended.
Whether Netflix acts on that remains to be seen. For the time being, the giants have made no statements regarding the sequel’s future. But that may not be the case for long. The film has been in the Top Picks list of the streaming service for some time now.

Is There a Story For Spenser Confidential?
The first film did a component of the job. At the close of the movie, we watched Spencer recognizing a man, arrested for causing a deadly fire. That guy was a friend he went to high school with. And Spencer believed in his innocence.
That sets up the story for another mission for Spencer to leap into. The set up is similar to Atkins’s novel Slow Burn. This could be the inspiration behind a sequel. Whatever the case, if the fil does get produced, don’t expect to return anytime before late 2022.
