Tata Motors Extends Free Warranty Period For Its Customers Worldwide, Know Who Will Benefit

In the wake of the COVID 19 (corona virus) epidemic, Tata Motors has extended warranties for customers of its commercial vehicles worldwide. The company has stated that it is optimally utilizing its capabilities to deliver technical support to its customers to drive vehicles in this challenging time.

Tata Motors has given a two-month relief period to its customers, whose commercial vehicles warranty is expiring during lockdown. That is, if your commercial vehicle warranty lockdown deadline ends by May 3, you will get an additional 2 months’ discount. A nationwide lockdown is in place to prevent the corona virus epidemic from spreading. The lockdown, which began from 25 March, was earlier to 14 April, which has been extended to 3 May.

Along with extending the service period for commercial vehicle customers, Tata Motors is also offering many benefits to its customers in India.

Two-month extension for pre-determined free service during the period of nationwide lockdown

Two months extension in warranty period for all those who end the warranty during the lockdown period

Expansion of Tata Security AMC for all those who are expiring during the lockdown period

Expansion of validity of all active contracts of Tata Motors Security for one month
One month extension of AMC service for customers, which were pre-determined during the lockdown period

Tata Motors’ helpline, Tata Support – 1800 209 7979, is also operational during the lockdown period for trucks carrying essential commodities specified by the government, where calls can be sought for help.

In addition, Tata Motors is also extending the warranty period for its global commercial vehicle customers as per standard warranty terms and conditions.

The warranty period was extended by two months for customers in South Africa, Middle East, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, North-West African countries and LATAM (Latin America) countries and for vehicles whose warranty expired on March 15, 2020 .

For customers outside Bangladesh, the warranty period of two months has been extended for those whose vehicles expire after 20 March 2020. Apart from this, for customers outside Sri Lanka whose warranty period expires after 15 March 2020, the warranty has also been extended for two months.
