The most famous and full of action based sci-fi movie series, The Matrix, is ongoing with its fourth movie series part,i.e., The Matrix 4. RELEASE DATE
After the three successful parts of the sequel, the fourth part ought to be released by 2021, and the shooting had also been started but was halted(due to the Coronavirus pandemic ), and the film is expected to release by April 2022. Fans have to wait a bit more to see their hero back in action.
CAST
The lead actor Keanu Reeves will return in the starring role as Neo, with Carrie-Anne Moss, once again playing Trinity. Sources say that Abdul-Mateen II will be playing the role of young Morpheus. The newcomers in Hollywood i.e., Priyanka Chopra and Mindhunter star Jonathan Groff are expected to join the film.
Also, Jada Pinkett Smith would return for Niobe’s role, who she played in The Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions.
It is confirmed that Hugo Weaving, who portrayed Agent Smith in the first three films, will not be joining the fourth sequel.
PLOT
The movie series is about a virtual world. Which they called the matrix. It depicts few groups of individuals always escaping from the superhumans in that world who try to kill them until Neo(Keanu Reeves ), after receiving proper training, discovers to have the same extraordinary abilities inside the matrix.
Though the fourth part’s plot is not out, we can expect to see more of combat and bloodshed in this sequence. After all, we have to wait almost two years more to know about the next part.
