Synopsis
An essential fact to understand the series is the fact that it takes place within an alternative world. Here the American president John F. Kennedy was not murdered in Dallas in 1963. In the first season, this group’s source story was told.
On precisely the same day, Back in 1989, 43 children were born whose mothers had no signs of having been pregnant before the afternoon. Billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves embraced about seven of these babies. They made The Umbrella Academy prepare these kids if they were to rescue the world.
What Hargreeves did not know is that when these children reached their teenagers, fights broke out, and the team will break up. That’s when The Umbrella Academy’s first chapter began.
