WandaVision Cast, Plot, Release Date, Trailer And More Detail is Here

Honey, WandaVision is home! Marvel’s half-sitcom, half epic is coming to Disney Plus afterward and it might just be the MCU’s weirdest entry. We saw our first sneak peek at the series during a Disney Plus Super Bowl commercial.

The six-episode series celebrities Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as their Avengers personalities Wanda Maximoff (aka Scarlet Witch) and Vision. She is a; he is an android/AI hybrid vehicle. And these two kids managed to fall amid destruction and strife.

Their love came with the departure of Vision, but that is the MCU time is a horizontal circle. Vision is a part of this wacky sitcom thanks to Wanda’s abilities.

This is everything we know including more, cast, plot, and much its release date.

WandaVision Cast

WandaVision’s two prospects are Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany as Vision (thus the name… WandaVision). Wanda is an Avenger with powerful powers of telekinesis and telepathy, while Vision is a hybrid of this AI J.A.R.V.I.S., Ultron and the Mind Stone.

Both figures have appeared in MCU and they started to connect on a personal level in Captain America: Civil War. As exhibited in Avengers: Infinity War but when they joined opposing sides, they began meeting to keep a romantic relationship. Their romance came to a tragic end when Thanos murdered Vision to get the Mind Stone in Avengers: Infinity War.

Also is Teyonah Parris as a grownup Monica Rambeau, daughter of Maria Rambeau, who is the best friend of Carol Danvers. Monica was last seen as a young woman in Captain Marvel (played with Akira Akbar).

The remainder of the cast (we know of) contains Kat Dennings, as political science major Darcy Lewis, last seen in Thor and Thor: The Dark Planet; Randall Park as FBI agent Jimmy Woo, last observed in Ant-Man and the Wasp; and MCU newcomer Kathryn Hahn as a”nosy neighbor.”

WandaVision Plot

Not much is known about the storyline of WandaVision, but we know it’ll delve into the relationship between Wanda and Vision and explore Wanda’s powers.

“Having the opportunity to tell more of their narrative, to find out of what Wanda can do, more of what makes Vision Vision, and — most significantly — show a name which I’m not sure we have said from the MCU yet, but we make a big deal of in the series, which is that Wanda is, in fact, the Scarlet Witch,” Marvel manager Kevin Feige clarified to Omelete.

“What does that mean, that she’s the Scarlet Witch? And that is what we play into in this show, in ways that are entirely fun, entirely amusing, somewhat scary, and certainly will have consequences for the entire future 4 of the MCU.”

Several clues have dropped about WandaVision, the first of which will be a teaser image that depicts the bunch in a brightly colored’sitcom setting. Feige and Olsen have described the show as the first sitcom of the MCU. The teaser consisted of pictures of Vision and Wanda from previous MCU movies cut with scenes in the Dick Van Dyke Show.

Bettany described the show to Collider as”so bonkers, quite honestly and insecure and new and unlike anything [, Marvel Studios has] ever done.”

Aside from the idea of an MCU sitcom, the question is: What’s Vision around, because he died in Infinity War? Fans are currently speculating the sitcom setting is a national fantasy that Wanda mentally conjures. Rumors were flying around online that audition tapes for Wanda and Vision’s kids comprised conversation about an”uncle.” Could that refer to Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), who sacrificed his life in Avengers: Age of Ultron? If Wanda is conjuring ghosts, why none of her brothers, too?

Another possibility is that Doctor Strange and his Time Stone are involved somehow. Feige previously revealed that WandaVision ties in directly to Doctor Strange at the Multiverse of Madness. Perhaps this sitcom edition of the life of Wanda is a wacky facet of this multiverse.

Marvel has every intent to produce the Disney Plus series’ events relevant to the movies. Leaked set photographs have demonstrated the grownup, Monica Rambeau, leaving a workplace marked with the emblem for the company S.W.O.R.D. That stands for Sentient World Observation and Response Department and is the space version of S.H.I.E.L.D.

S.W.O.R.D. was first hinted at in a finish credits spectacle of Spider-Man: Far From Home, which revealed that the”Nick Fury” and”Maria Hill” personalities were Skrulls in disguise. The real Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) had requested the shapeshifters to take their place. He appeared to be in distance working on a new job.

S.W.O.R.D. would act as a bridge between what is happening on Earth and what is happening in outer space. And Nick Fury would be a gatekeeper who works with everybody from Spider-Man and Thor.

WandaVision Release Date

WandaVision will be the second live-action Marvel TV series to hit Disney+. After The Falcon and the Winter Soldier bows in August, we’ll get WandaVision in December. No date has been revealed yet.

WandaVision Trailer

We did not anticipate it, but the first footage from WandaVision came during the Super Bowl, and it seems more gloriously weird than we could have possibly expected! Check it out (along with footage from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Loki).

Those few seconds of WandaVision footage contained within this trailer are packed with information, from classic sitcom homages to hints about the children of Vision and Scarlet Witch (which spells bad news to the Marvel Universe) to even a glance at Elizabeth Olsen wearing a comics-accurate Scarlet Witch costume.
