Will the Retro Yamaha XSR155 come to India?

Yamaha brought a shock to most amazed people around when it launched a retro look on the market. It was the Yamaha XSR 155 on the Thailand streets in the month of August 2019. Now, it is upon the dreams of the Indian market as well. This makes a lot of gossip sound as if it were coming to India sooner. We yet know only of the kingdom of Royal Enfield in this section of Retro, and this will be anew competition for the old one. Though Java is also an infamous name of this segment, we still doubt other bikes are entering into competition sooner.

The Japanese company Yamaha is trying to go for their strong presence in this field. And thus, the global market is ready for XSR 155. it gets 150 cc liquid cooling engine, thus making it every day ride for you. The current Yamaha XSR 155 is based on Yamaha R15 V 3.0. Still, there may be some compromises based on the aluminium swingarm and some changes for the box section unit.

Talking in the costs of R15 and XSR 155, there is a difference of 15,000 approximately, with the XSR more efficient. We may expect the same for the Indian Market as well. It may go for 1.33 lacs. This will keep it in competition with the cost of Royal Enfield Bullet 350 ES. It may also get A VVA on descending upon India with 155 cc engine, 6-speed transmission and a power of 19.3 PS and 14.7 Nm torque.

Let’s wait for announcements for more.
