One punch man is an action and comedy series. 2 seasons have been aired by Netflix till now.
Both the seasons consist of 12 episodes each. The length of each episode ranges between 22 minutes to 25 minutes. The show was released on 4th December 2015. The second season was aired on 9th April 2019.
The 1st season was given a 100% rating by rotten tomatoes. The series is a must-watch because of the unorthodox hero, amazing animation with humorous jabs.

Plot
This show is a Japanese action virtual comic created in 2009 by One which has been adapted from Manga. Mangas are novels and picturizations of Japan which relate to a style prevalent in Japan in the 19th century. The plot revolves around the huge disruption that the monsters and villains cause to Earth. Consequently, a billionaire creates a hero association to battle the same and protect the supercontinent from the wrath of these monsters. Further, Saitama is an independent hero who engages in valiant activities to entertain himself. During the series, Saitama meets several monsters and heroes such as Bang. He takes part in a martial arts competition with Bang to fight the monster association but ultimately, they fo not kill their opponent, Garo, and let him escape the battlefield. As a consequence, the hero association loses the public trust which leads to the retirement of many superheroes.
The next season will revolve around the empowerment of Garo, Saitama’s biggest opponent. Keeping Manga as reflective, we can look forward to a war between the Hero Association and the Most Association in the third season.
Although, the creators have not officially revealed the plot we can expect this solid narrative to bring in the package some extraordinary action scenes.
Release Date
The release date of the second season was 4 years later to the release date of the first season which proves that the third season won’t be aired any time soon. Furthermore, the English version is aired 2 years after the release of the Japanese version.
