The 2020 Chevrolet Blazer isn’t much of Jeep chasing wilderness car. But rather it gives us an impression of slick, and decidedly street-oriented crossover with a high-class designer touch. Thus, it finds itself in the park with the Ford Edge and the Nissan Murano- for the competition. And, we can not say it is boring, it gets some distinguishing features like the sporty driving characteristics. And Blazer is sure for a chance from all those who want to roam around with the family, still having a roomy useful car.
Talking of the new 2020 Chevrolet Blazer, it gets the standard 193-hp 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine under its hood. There is also an optional 308 hp 3.6 liter V6. Both these engines will be pairing with the nine-speed automatic transmission. And, the V6 will be the only one which shall have the all-wheel drive. This shall not bring down the front-drive. And it is as the front-wheel-drive is insufficient position for good power output to go round the town.
Talking of the fuel economy, the EPA estimates that the four-cylinder 2020 Chevrolet Blazer will earn 22 mpg city and 27 highway. The front-drive, six-cylinder version is slightly lesser in figures with 20 mpg city and 26 highway. Both engines make use of stop-start technology to improve fuel efficiency. And this feature of the system cannot be deactivated.
