Benelli would shortly redesign the adventure-touring TRK 502 and TRK 502X models. Media sources say both motorcycles will get the forthcoming refresh with a full-color LCD instrument cluster.
The Benelli TRK 502 and 2020 Benelli TRK 502X unveiled at the 2019 EICMA. For an enhanced look. The former, which is a more road-based version, has new graphics and plastic textures whereas the latter. This biased off-road, has backlit switchgear, new rear-view mirror design with the TRK logo and new hand grips. As well as a revised seat and a new aluminum alloy rear pannier rack, Benelli had added adjustable front brake and clutch levers.
Features:
Powering the 2020 TRK 502 and 2020 TRK 502X is a revamped parallel-twin engine of 499.6 ccs which will comply with BS6 when the bikes are launched in India. Benelli has not revealed the revised engine’s power and torque output yet. The BS4 variant produces 47.6 PS and 46 Nm of torque for comparison and is paired to a six-speed gearbox.
Now, the 2020 TRK 502 and 2020 TRK 502X may also receive another intriguing upgrade, a full-digital, and full-color LCD instrument cluster, according to the latest news. Announced at EICMA 2019, the bikes use a semi-digital instrument cluster that seems archaic in today’s era. A new cluster of full-digital and full-color LCD instruments would be a welcome addition. It may be the same device that the Benelli TNT 600i launched in 2020.
More than a year earlier in India Benelli had launched the TRK 502 and TRK 502X. Both bikes have received positive feedback because they have offered an overall good price kit. Having said that, the BS4 TRK 502 retailed to INR 5.10 lakh * and the BS4 TRK 502X to INR 5.50 lakh*. In light of the above updates, we expect the BS6-compliant bikes to be more expensive.
