The luxury vehicle division of South Korean vehicle manufacturer Hyundai motor groups, which was established in 2015. According to the reports, the elegantly styled GV80 concept will be the first SUV from Genesis. It is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2020 and is headed to compete with the rivals BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE-class.
The new line-up is expected to inherit some of the features from its predecessor G80 sedan. The New Genesis GV80 2020 will feature the same powertrain choice housing a 3.8 liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine, and a 5.0 liter V-8 engine. As per the reports the exterior of the new Genesis GV80 features a big grill along with sporty headlamps. The exterior also includes aggressive side skirts, a newly conceptualized roof rack and a larger rear window.
The much-anticipated interior of the model includes an all inspiring stylish and model design, loaded with premium features. It also includes a bigger trunk and state of the art high-tech interiors. The dashboard sports a big slab of wood veneer, while a big screen in the centre dashboard of the cabin feels as driver-friendly as they could get. The dashboard also houses a digital instrument cluster, a multi-functional steering and a fancy door panel with leather and wood veneer. The rear section is expected to provide an above-average legroom and0 headroom in order to compete with the German SUVs.
Featuring the Genesis GV 80 2020 drivetrain includes an all-wheel drive system along with an eight-speed automatic power transmission gearbox. The model employs a range of four-cylinder, V-6 and V-8 units, which the company used earlier in its previous models. The 3.8 liter v-6 utilizes a three-stage variable intake system, equipped with a triangular fuel injector pattern, an air-gap exhaust manifold, and a two-stage oil pump. The engine produces an exceptional power of 311 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 293 pounds-feet of torque at 5,000 rpm, which is quite enough to drive such a big SUV smoothly. The other engine option available is 5.0 liter V8 engine, which uses high-pressure direct injection, low torque exhaust manifolds and an upgraded multiple-injection mapping, generating a total power of 420Hp at 6,000 Rpm and 383 pound-feet torque at 5,000 Rpm. Both the engine will be mated to eight-speed automatic transmission control, giving it enough power to conquer its competitors.
