We always want the popular ones- at least for the bikes with great performance and comfort. Design too is often considered among the selection criterion. So, this time, we are going to witness the arrival of Honda twins Honda Rebel 300 and 500. And they are coming with a hell load of updates, making them better in visuals as well as performances.
The 2020 Honda Rebel 300 and 500 have got the same chassis but the motors get them well differentiated. And all the new updates occupy and stay for both the vehicles. Lets have a closure look at these for now.
The 2020 Honda Rebel 300 and 500 have got twin and single type engine respectively with 286 and 471 cc displacement and both accompanied by DOHC four valves per cylinder 34 or 38 mm throttle body and a six speed transmission type with chain final drive. The rear suspension is adjustable but the fronts are not and the security is onto the optional; ABS system. The fuel base is 3 gallons and 30 degree of fork angle. They got the colours of common matte blue jeans metallic and Graphite metallic.
Talking of the common updates on the table for both the ne debuts, we have the new assist and slipper clutch to pull at levers and they just get away with a pinkie finger, while the skinny finger helps to avoid skidding of the rear wheel during drift or aggressive acceleration.
The comfort has been on update via suspension internals updates. And it continues with the stiffer spring constant. The seats are more comfortable as they have thick seats and dense padding on for long drives.
The styling has been clean with new lights as well. Leds are used from front to back and headlight is a bit more compact and mounted closure to steering the head for a more modern look.
The brake light is more of a tucked in thing. They also have an updated dash with LED display. Though the principals of engines and frame remains unchanged. And these all are enough for now for the better test drive. Have an informative day!!!
