2021 GLE Mercedes-AMG 63 S Is the fastest egg in the world on wheels

For some mysterious reason. When unveiling a ginormous SUV-Coupe that looks pretty much like a hard-boiled egg on wheels when this color painted. Anyone in charge of Mercedes-AMG product launches has fit to choose white.

The first official photos of the 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe show a vehicle from the design series finished in a rather different shade. These also known as the bright white diamond design.

They probably chose it for the unveiling because it reverts back to German cars ‘ official race hue in the 1930s. But it helps the AMG GLE Coupe look even more bubbling than it is.

That said, the latest crossover is a technical tour de force and can probably run laps on any driving surface around its predecessor.

Just like the current GLE 63, the new GLE 63 Coupe comes with two power versions. Both of which fuelled by the newest iteration of a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8. They paired with a 48-volt electrical system that gives it. Among other things, mild-hybrid capability.

Features:

The 2020 GLE 63 Coupe features a torque output of 571 metric horsepower and 750 Nm (553.2 lb-ft). This enhanced by an extra 22 horsepower and 250 Nm (184.4 lb-ft) torque from an electric starter-alternator integrated between the engine and the transmission.

Including the letter S at the end of the name of the vehicle gives it an output of 612 metric horsepower and a remarkable torque of 850 Nm (627 lb-ft). Which briefly followed by the same 22 hp and 250 Nm electric motor.

Additionally, the internal combustion engine fitted with cylinder deactivation. Which turns off the two, three, five and eight-cylinder at partial load or when the Comfort drive system is chosen. While the S version additionally suits the V8 with active mounts.

Wise to accelerate, the standard model gets flat from 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in 4 seconds, whereas the GLE 63 S Coupe does it in 3.8 seconds. The model’s public unveiling will take place at the upcoming 2020 Geneva Motor Show. With a market launch expected to begin near summertime.
