2022 Honda Civic Type R seen in camouflaged

2022 Honda Civic Type R could go hybrid…

The new revealed Honda Civic Type R had just stolen our hearts. But now the shutterbugs caught a camo- Type R, doing trial runs. The roads near Nurburgring were blessed to be scratched by this new-gen Type R. The company had announced and the prototype’s on the test, means we could soon get our gifts.

The eyes camera noticed a revised spoiler on a raised mounting. The lights on the front and the rear were different. The vehicle had a lower shoulder line, bonnet line, and headlights. The interior view wasn’t so clear. Though we could get a complete changed sporty in the cabin.

The current Civic Type R is the best sporty sedan roads can have. A 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces a 306 horsepower paired with 6-speed manual transmission is what gives a 1.2 g’s force when the pedals are hit.

Honda had already hinted that the next-gen 2022 Honda Civic Type R could have a hybrid powertrain. The specifications were not revealed. But we are sure it’s gonna be a hell of a ride. The powertrain could reflect the concept of the NSX supercar. Which means a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 with three electric motors. It’s unclear whether that means four-wheel drive, but it’s likely if Honda goes full-hybrid in this way.
