French car company Citroen has introduced its C5 Aircross model in India. The official launch of this car will be in March 2021. Production of this car has also started in India. In India, this car will get tough competition in the segment.
These Cars will Compete
After its launch in India, this car model will compete with Hyundai Tucson and Jeep Compass. In the initial phase, this car model will be imported as CKD i.e. Completely Knock Down Units.
How much will it cost
The price of this French car has not been revealed yet but it is believed that the price of this car can be up to 30 lakh rupees. This car model is going to come in a fully loaded single variant.
Engine and power
Talking about power and performance in C5 Aircross, this car has a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that generates a top power of 180bhp. The car has an 8-speed torque converter.
The Citroen C5 Aircross SUV began production last year at a plant in Thiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. It is being assembled in India and its parts are coming from outside. Citroën plans to sell its first SUV in 10 major cities in India and for this showrooms will be opened in these cities on the La Maison Citroen concept.
